チラトリコール

Limited compatibility

A metabolite of thyroid hormones. It is used in cases of resistance to thyroid hormones.
Administered orally.

Since the last update we have not found published data on its excretion in breastmilk.

There is very little literature on this product and it is sold in very few countries.

It has been used in dieting products for slimming purposes, producing serious side effects such as impaired thyroid function, paralysis, diarrhea, fatigue, lethargy, excessive weight loss, galactorrhea, and heart and cerebrovascular problems (MedlinePlus 2019, Cohen 2011, Ma 2008, Scally 2003, Bauer 2002, Devoto 2001, Chow 1998), so its use is not indicated in general and less so during breastfeeding. Thyrotoxicosis has been reported after use in subcutaneous injections in mesotherapy (Danilovic 2008).

A low-calorie diet and moderate exercise are preferable. Many women who breastfeed regain their pre-pregnancy weight sooner than those who do not.
