ACUTE GASTROENTERITIS DIET FOR SUCKLING BABIES
For the next ___ hours give only the following
SOLUTION: 1 sachet SUERORAL dissolved in 1 litre mineral (bottled) water, in
small doses but frequently, approximately ____ cc. (millilitres) hourly. If baby
refuses Sueroral solution substitute for: water, rice water or ISOTONAR: 1
sachet for 250 cc. water.
For the next 5 or 6 days prepare baby's bottle as
follows:
Baby formula brand:
1st day: _____ cc. water for ____ level measures
formula.
2nd day: _____ cc. water for ____ level measures
formula.
3rd day: _____ cc. water for ____ level measures
formula.
Give water or above solution often.
Give no medicine.
When stools improve and baby doesn't vomit, feed
normally i.e:

If there is no improvement with this diet
consult your paediatrician.
